Team analysis: Always the bridesmaid and never the bride has been the story for Camden in the past three years. Despite a deep rotation with players than can dominate in any style of game play, Camden has been unable to get over the hump. Camden has made it to the Group championship game four straight years, only to fall short to Newark based programs in each of the past four seasons.
With that being said, Camden is returning enough to make some noise again in the Group. Junior Ethan Tarte looked much better as the season progressed. Senior Myles Thompson has the talent to be a 20-10 player this year. Sophomore Lance Ware made a lot of noise in fall ball and has the talent to breakthrough this year. Camden has the talent to make the run again the bigger question is: Can they win on the big stage?
Stat to know: Despite great regular season success and deep postseason runs, Camden has lost in the Group final four straight years in a row.
