For many, music is a push factor against the demons of anxiety and nervousness before a competition. For others, a pre-game playlist is a "Secret sauce" used to stir up and release whatever is channeled within them in an effort to lead their team to victory.
Below is a interview series called "Gameday Playlist Vibes," which feature must-play pre-game songs from rising basketball stars in New Jersey. Next up is St. Peter's Prep guard Will White. The crafty floor general has been sensational as a sophomore. Enjoy the jams from the diaper dandy below.

Before home games: I use about 30 minutes to emulate in game shots while listening to this playlist either on a speaker or my Beats. I believe that a key to preparation for games is to form a repetitive process. My process always begins with the music I listen to.
Thoughts on the bus: When I’m on the road going to a game, I listen to these songs to make sure my mindset is the same as it is for home games. With these songs playing all of the distractions from the bumpy bus rides go away and the tone is set for the day.
