Sean Logan, a 6’10” power forward from Westfield High School, saw his recruitment take off this summer, gaining 13 Division One offers. Logan played with New Jersey’s Team Rio, one of the top programs in the Under Armour Circuit.
“This summer was really the first time I was able to play in front of college coaches,” Logan said. “The weekend of Jersey Live is when I got my first couple offers of the summer, but playing with Team Rio on the UAA Circuit really helped my recruitment.”

Going into the summer, Logan’s only offer was from Fairleigh Dickinson, but Loyola Chicago, Davidson and Iona were among the many programs to extend an offer to the big man.
“These offers really mean a lot to me,” he said. “I couldn’t be more thankful of the situation I’m in. My recruitment seems to be mostly over, and I’m totally okay with that and really happy about where I am right now.”

Logan has plans to make his college decision sometime in October, before his senior season begins, with the goal of getting the commitment stress out of his mind.
“I’m really excited for the upcoming season. We have a really good group of guys and we’re hoping to do some big things,” Logan said. “We were only able to play 13 games last season, so we are looking forward to getting back out there.”
During the AAU season, Logan and Team Rio matched up with some of the best talent from across the country, including a New Jersey Scholars team that Rio took down, which featured D.J. Wagner, Mack Mgbako, Aaron Bradshaw, Quadir Copeland, Elijah Perkins, and more. Some other notable players that Logan faced were Jarace Walker, Gradey Dick, Donovan Clingan and Dariq Whitehead.
“I want to bring the intensity of AAU basketball into high school,” Logan said. “My teammates and I have to play our hardest at all times, because I think that is what wins championships.”
