Team analysis: Rumson-Fair Haven made a nice bit of noise last year. Sadly for opponents in Group 2, this team isn’t letting up this year.
The team may have lost Hannah Scanlan to graduation last year, but there is still a lot left in the cupboard this year. All-State guard Tori Hyduke will be running the show again for Fair Haven. The crafty guard has one of the most versatile skill sets in New Jersey. She can score, set players up in the half court, defend and rebound. Reminiscent of Jason Kidd when he played for the Nets, Hyduke is a floor general worth the price of admission.
If things fall into place, RFH should compete for the Group 2 crown.
Stat to know: Hyduke was an all-state selection in 2017.
